At Foremost, mobile home insurance is our specialty. We insure more than one million mobile home residences across the United States. Foremost got started at a time when mobile homes were still called "house trailers." Over the years, we’ve learned a lot about mobile homes and our customers’ insurance needs.

Because we are mobile home specialists, our claim team has a clear objective -- to help our mobile home customers get their lives back to normal as quickly as possible. That’s true with every claim. Whether we’re settling a claim for one home or hundreds of homes damaged when a disaster strikes a large area, you get the claim service you deserve. At claim time, helping you is our top priority.

A good example is when Hurricane Fran slammed into the North Carolina coast on September 5, 1996. With 120 mph winds and a 12-foot storm surge, Fran carved a path of destruction that caused 26 deaths and property damage in the billions. As soon as officials said it was safe to move in, Foremost adjusters spread out across North and South Carolina to respond to the approximately 4,500 claims that were called in to Foremost’s 24-hour toll-free claims hot line. The results speak for themselves. Within a month over 96% of the claims were settled and Foremost customers were well on their way to repairing their homes and their lives.
